How to play Teen Patti
- 01
Check the table rules
Review the boot, stake limits and variation before a hand begins. Each player receives three face-down cards.
- 02
Choose blind or seen
Blind players act without viewing their cards. Seen players view their hand; the table rules determine their permitted stake.
- 03
Follow the action
On your turn, continue under the table’s rules or fold. Sideshow and show options depend on the table and remaining players.
- 04
Compare at the show
Eligible hands are compared using the ranking order. The strongest hand wins unless a selected variation changes the ranking.
Hand rankings
Trail / trio
Three cards of the same rank.
Pure sequence
Three consecutive cards of the same suit.
Sequence
Three consecutive cards, not all the same suit.
Colour / flush
Three same-suit cards that do not form a sequence.
Pair
Two cards of the same rank.
High card
None of the combinations above; compare the cards by rank.
Teen Patti variants
AK47
Aces, kings, fours and sevens act as jokers under the variation’s rules.
Muflis
The ranking is reversed, so lower hands become stronger. Read the tie-breaking rules.
Joker
Designated cards can substitute for another card. The exact joker selection is shown in the rules.
999
A variation in which the target total is closest to 999. Card values and comparisons depend on the table.
Hukam
The selected card or rank determines the joker according to the table’s published rules.
Tips from the tables
- Learn the complete ranking order before joining a table.
- Check whether blind and seen stakes differ.
- Set your time and spend limits before you begin.
- Folding is a valid choice; do not chase a previous loss.
Tables, stakes and timers
Before joining a table or round, review the format, entry conditions, permitted stakes and action timer. They can differ between games and variants.
App-specific limits, timings and availability will be published in the released app. This guide does not set a minimum stake or promise an available cash-play format.
Choose limits that you are comfortable with. Never increase your spend to recover a previous loss.
How fairness works in Teen Patti
The shuffle, hand comparison and stake rules should operate consistently for every player. A variation can change the ranking order, so read its rules first. Certification and operational controls must be checked against the released app, not inferred from a preview.
Common mistakes
- Confusing a colour with a pure sequence.
- Using standard rankings in a Muflis hand.
- Continuing solely to recover earlier losses.
- Overlooking the table’s show or sideshow conditions.
